Keeping English Ninjas Safe Together

Safeguarding the health and well-being of our students and our Tribe is paramount to us. The EN team is determined to work seamlessly and proactively in taking pre-emptive measures to keep our community and learning space safe.

What is our in-house mask policy?

In line with government policies, with effect from 29 August 2022, wearing a mask is no longer mandatory for students and our Tribe at English Ninjas. However, we strongly recommend students (and our Tribe) who are not feeling well, are sniffling, having a running nose and/or cough, to wear a mask while at the centre.

What happens if my child is having a fever?

For students who are running a fever (more than 37.5°C), parents are advised to keep their child(ren) home. If a student is found to have a fever while at the centre, we will contact his/her parents to arrange for transport home immediately. We seek everyone's understanding that this is to ensure the well-being and health of our community.

We will arrange for your child(ren) to:
Option One: Attend their scheduled lesson remotely (via Zoom); or
Option Two: Attend a replacement class (of the same level) on a different day within the same lesson cycle; or
Option Three: Attend a Special Replacement Class (SRC) that is scheduled on an ad-hoc basis to students who are unable to take options one and two.

What happens if my child tests positive for Covid-19 and/or someone in the same household tests positive?

If your child tests positive for Covid-19, please keep your child home and inform us as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements for a replacement class. This also applies in the event there is a Covid case in the same household.

For students who test positive for Covid-19, they may return to the centre for their scheduled classes from Day 7 or when they test negative for Covid-19, whichever is earlier.

We seek your understanding that these enhanced measures complement existing safe management measures to ensure that our centre remain a safe environment for all students and our Tribe safe. Thank you for being with us on this journey.

We will continue to review and adjust the measures in line with the national posture for the health and well-being of everyone in English Ninjas.

Continue to stay safe and stay well!

With love and light,
The English Ninjas Team.
